Oxygen generators for mining and gold mines was successfully commissioned and started up by NEWTEK technicians in the third quarter of 2015, and soon after, the mining company announced that the gold mine had begun trial production.

The new mine is the largest in a region in the Middle East and is a key part of the company's strategy to develop multiple new gold mining facilities in the western region, which holds most of the country's gold mines.

At full capacity, newtek expects to produce 180,000 ounces of gold per year (about 5.6 tons/year). Commercial production is scheduled to start in the first quarter of 2016. NEWTEK's PSA oxygen production plant has been running well so far.

Working principle of pressure swing adsorption (PSA) oxygen generator:

 Air is compressed by the compressor and enters the adsorption tower
 The adsorption tower is filled with molecular sieve adsorbent, which can selectively adsorb nitrogen molecules in the air
 Oxygen and other small molecular gases are not adsorbed, and permeate through the adsorption tower to enrich the product oxygen
 When the adsorbent is saturated with adsorption, the system switches to another adsorption tower to decompress and desorb the saturated tower
 Through the cyclic adsorption/desorption of two or more adsorption towers, continuous oxygen production is achieved

Precautions:
 Strictly implement equipment operating parameters such as pressure, temperature, flow, etc. to avoid overload operation
 Regularly check the filter element or adsorbent and replace it in time according to the use status
 Closely monitor the quality indicators of product oxygen purity, dew point, etc.
 Ensure that there is no leakage in the gas supply pipeline and the oxygen supply system is unobstructed
 Strictly abide by the safety operating procedures to prevent accidents
 Provide professional training and guidance to practitioners
