Compared with PSA oxygen production process, VPSA oxygen production process has two advantages: one is that it can improve the purity and recovery rate of product oxygen, and the other is low energy consumption and less adsorbent. Therefore, when the raw air pressure is low and high-pressure oxygen is not required, it is more suitable to choose VPSA.
Selection of program-controlled valves
The vacuum pressure swing adsorption oxygen production process is realized by switching program-controlled valves. The reliability and sealing of program-controlled valves are the most critical links in the vacuum pressure swing adsorption oxygen production technology. The cycle of the vacuum pressure swing adsorption oxygen production device is very short, about 30 seconds, requiring the program-controlled valve to be able to open and close quickly in a very short time. Therefore, the general requirements for the program-controlled butterfly valve of the vacuum pressure swing adsorption oxygen production device are:
(1) The closing time is less than 1.5 seconds;
(2) The valve operates reliably, and the number of trouble-free switching times is greater than 2 million times;
(3) The valve seal is leak-free.
At present, the butterfly valves used in vacuum pressure swing adsorption oxygen production devices are mainly two-eccentric butterfly valves and three-eccentric butterfly valves. The two-eccentric butterfly valve adopts the position sealing principle; the three-eccentric butterfly valve is a metal hard seal and adopts the torque sealing principle. It can withstand higher pressure than the two-eccentric butterfly valve, has a smaller opening and closing torque, better sealing performance, and a higher price.
