01. Oxygen delignification (O)
Oxygen consumption: 20-30 kg O₂/BDMT
Oxygen delignification is a key process between cooking and bleaching. By using oxygen and alkali, lignin remaining in the pulp after cooking can be effectively removed. This process reduces the need for chemicals in the subsequent bleaching steps and improves the brightness and quality of the pulp.

02. Oxygen-alkali extraction
Oxygen consumption: 5 kg O₂/BDMT
The introduction of oxygen during the alkali extraction stage is an effective means to improve bleaching efficiency and reduce the use of more expensive bleaching chemicals. Oxygen accelerates the dissolution of lignin in this process, thereby improving bleaching results and optimizing pulp processing costs and environmental performance.

03. White liquor oxidation
Oxygen consumption: 5-10 kg O₂/BDMT
Oxygen is used to oxidize sodium sulfide in white liquor to sodium thiosulfate (partial oxidation) or sodium sulfate (full oxidation). This process improves the recovery efficiency of chemicals while reducing emission pollution, and is an important part of the closed-loop process of pulp mills.

04. Oxygen bleaching
Oxygen consumption: 10-15 kg O₂/BDMT
Oxygen bleaching is an enhanced alkaline extraction (Eo) stage used to replace the traditional oxygen delignification process. Compared with oxygen delignification, oxygen bleaching requires lower capital investment and has excellent environmental performance, helping companies further reduce chemical use and achieve more sustainable production.
