1. How does the PSA oxygen generator work?
The selective adsorption characteristics of the adsorbent on gases at different pressures are used to separate oxygen and nitrogen from the air. Oxygen is extracted by adsorbing oxygen from the air at high pressure and then releasing it at low pressure in a cycle.
2. What is the oxygen output and concentration of the equipment?
The output of the PSA oxygen generator is usually between 450 and 600 cubic feet per hour (about 11.83 to 15.77 Nm³/hr), and the oxygen concentration can be as high as 95.5%.
3. What is the operating cost of the equipment?
The operating cost is low, mainly because of its efficient energy utilization and automated operation functions, which reduce the need for manual intervention and maintenance.
4. Is the installation and maintenance of the equipment complicated?
It is easy to install and maintain, and it can be put into use by simply connecting to the power supply and compressed air source. Its automation function allows the equipment to operate unattended, further simplifying maintenance.
5. What are the environmental operating conditions of the equipment?
Place in a well-ventilated, weather-protected area, and maintain operating temperatures between 40°F (4°C) and 104°F (40°C) to ensure proper operation of the equipment.
6. What are the feed air requirements?
Feed air should be clean, dry "plant air" meeting ISO 8573.1 Class 5.6.5, with a minimum pressure of 90 psig (621 kPa) and a maximum temperature of 122°F (50°C).
