The Ozone Generation System efficiently produces ozone onsite by utilizing oxygen sourced from a PSA Oxygen Generator as the feed gas. This generated ozone is suitable for a wide range of applications, including wastewater and sewage treatment, cooling tower water treatment, bottled water purification, and pulp bleaching, among others.

 

System Components

 

The system includes an Air Compressor that compresses air to supply the PSA Oxygen Generator Module, where oxygen (O₂) is produced and subsequently stored in an Oxygen Vessel.

Ozone Production Process

In the Ozonator Module, the stored O₂ gas is subjected to a high voltage AC electric corona discharge-akin to lightning. This process breaks down molecular oxygen into atomic oxygen.

Some of these liberated oxygen atoms recombine to form ozone (O₃), while others return to form regular oxygen. The resulting gas mixture, rich in ozone, is then circulated within the Ozone Injection System.
The ozonated water produced is utilized for various applications, while in certain cases, ozone is injected directly into water or air as required, ensuring optimal performance tailored to specific needs.
