Working Principle:

NEWTEK PSA oxygen generator is based on the principle of pressure swing adsorption, using high-quality zeolite molecular sieve as adsorbent to efficiently extract oxygen from the air. After the purified and dried compressed air enters the adsorption tower, after the process of pressurization and decompression, the diffusion rate of nitrogen in the pores of the zeolite molecular sieve is faster than that of oxygen, so oxygen is preferentially adsorbed and enriched in the gas phase to form a high-purity oxygen product. After decompression to normal pressure, the adsorbent is regenerated by adsorbing and desorbing impurities (such as nitrogen).

The system is usually equipped with two adsorption towers, one for oxygen adsorption and production, and the other for adsorbent regeneration. The PLC controller accurately controls the opening and closing of the pneumatic valve, so that the two towers can operate alternately to achieve continuous production of high-quality oxygen. The entire system includes the following parts: compressed air components, air storage tanks, oxygen and nitrogen separators, and oxygen buffer tanks.
