Modular Liquid Oxygen Plant

Modular Liquid Oxygen Plant

Modular Liquid Oxygen Plant is a complete on-site oxygen generation system that adopts cryogenic distillation or adsorption technology, integrated through a modular design. Its core features include rapid deployment, intelligent operation, and flexible expansion. It can directly produce liquid oxygen or high-pressure gaseous oxygen with a purity ranging from 93%±3% to over 99.6%, widely adapting to oxygen demands in industrial, medical, aerospace, and other scenarios.

Description

Technical Parameters

Modular Design for Efficient Deployment
The equipment is disassembled into standardized modules, which can be transported via ISO containers or C-130 transport aircraft. Installation and commissioning can be completed within 4 hours in extreme environments, and it can be put into operation within 2 days under regular scenarios. Prefabricated pipelines are used for connection between modules; components such as adsorption towers can be replaced individually during maintenance, minimizing downtime costs.

Intelligent & Low-Consumption, Easy Operation & Maintenance
Equipped with a PLC fully automatic control system and remote monitoring function, it tracks parameters such as pressure and purity in real time. Imported molecular sieves are adopted for high adsorption efficiency, reducing energy consumption per unit oxygen production by more than 15% compared with traditional equipment.

Scenario Adaptability & Flexible Customization
The production capacity ranges from 1.5-5.0 tons/day (or 3-10 Nm³/h). It can adapt to high-altitude low-pressure environments and meet differentiated needs such as industrial cylinder filling, medical oxygen supply, and aerospace test oxygen sources.

Safe & Reliable, Comprehensive Protection
A molecular sieve purification system is equipped to remove hydrocarbons, integrated with liquid level and pressure alarm devices. Some models include patented biochemical warfare protection technology.

work principle of Modular Liquid Oxygen Plant

Air Preprocessing

Raw air is filtered to remove impurities, compressed to 1.3 MPa, pre-cooled to 5-16°C, and then passed through a molecular sieve adsorber to remove moisture and carbon dioxide.

Refrigeration & Separation

Purified air enters the cold box, is cooled by the main heat exchanger, part of it is refrigerated by the turboexpander, and the rest enters the distillation column. The lower column initially separates nitrogen and oxygen-enriched liquid air, and the upper column further distills to obtain high-purity liquid oxygen.

Product Output

Liquid oxygen can be directly stored in storage tanks, or vaporized and filled into cylinders after being pressurized to 150-200 bar by a liquid oxygen pump.

FAQ

1.What is the required installation space for the equipment?
The size of basic modules is approximately 1.7×0.45×0.45 m (small-sized). A complete system including storage tanks requires an outdoor area of 30-50 m².

2.How often should molecular sieves be replaced?
Under normal working conditions, the adsorption performance can last for 2-3 years. The equipment is equipped with a regeneration function to reduce replacement frequency.

3.What are the safety requirements for liquid oxygen storage?
Storage tanks must be kept away from fire sources, maintained in a well-ventilated environment, regularly purged and replaced with dry air, and contact with oil and grease must be avoided.

4.Can liquid nitrogen be produced simultaneously?
Some models support co-production of oxygen and nitrogen, which can simultaneously produce liquid nitrogen with a purity of 99.99%, used for equipment cooling or tire inflation.

5.Is special modification required for use in high-altitude environments?
The air supply system and electronic control modules can be customized to adapt to low-pressure environments at altitudes above 3000 meters.
