Basic Principle

Our cutting-edge Liquid Oxygen (LOx) Plant employs a fundamental process that begins by extracting air from the atmosphere. This air is then utilized as feed air in a sieve purification system, effectively eliminating moisture and CO2 from the process air. Subsequently, the feed air undergoes liquefaction through cryogenic cooling, employing state-of-the-art plate and fin high-efficiency heat exchangers and expanders. The liquid air is meticulously separated into oxygen and inert gases within the air separation column, and the resulting liquid oxygen is stored in a dedicated liquid storage tank.

 

Reliability for Industrial and Medical Use: Ensuring 100% reliability in oxygen gas quality, the plant is suitable for a wide range of applications, spanning industrial and hospital settings.

Process Description:
 

Air Compression

Utilizing the latest compressors, such as Screw/Centrifugal types, air is compressed at a low pressure of 5-7 bar (0.5-0.7 MPa).

Pre Cooling System

The processed air undergoes pre-cooling using a refrigerant, reducing its temperature to around 12°C before entering the purifier.

Air Purification

Twin molecular sieve driers in the purifier alternately function to separate carbon dioxide and moisture from the process air before it reaches the air separation unit.

Cryogenic Cooling by Expander

Cryogenic refrigeration is achieved by a highly efficient turbo expander, cooling the air to temperatures below -165 to -170°C for liquefaction.

Air Separation Column

Moisture-free, oil-free, and carbon dioxide-free air enters the low-pressure plate fin heat exchanger, achieving sub-zero temperatures during air expansion. Liquefaction and separation into oxygen and nitrogen occur in the air separation column through rectification.

Liquid Oxygen Storage

The produced liquid oxygen is stored in a connected liquid storage tank, forming an automatic system. Extraction of liquid oxygen is facilitated through a hose pipe.
