Technical Parameters

 

Cryogenic Oxygen Gas Plants operate on the principle of fractional distillation, which enables the production of high-purity oxygen.

Here's a breakdown of how they work:

Air Suction and Compression

Atmospheric air is drawn in through an air compressor.

Heat Exchangers

The purified air passes through heat exchangers, where it undergoes cooling to reach cryogenic temperatures.

Air Purification

The air is then directed into an air purification unit, where contaminants such as hydrocarbons, moisture, and carbon dioxide are removed

Cryogenic Temperature

At this point, the air is chilled to cryogenic temperatures. Oxygen is then separated from other gases.

Distillation Columns: The separated oxygen is pumped into distillation columns. Within these columns, oxygen is physically isolated from other gases. The creation of oxygen occurs on the floor of the column at a temperature as low as -185 degrees Celsius.
